CSE is usually measured by one thing: its effect on students' sexual health knowledge and behavior. But as we've seen firsthand, schools, families, and communities all feel the ripple effects, too.
In Brief
This peer-reviewed study, published in PLOS ONE, used Human-Centered Design methods to explore how Projet Jeune Leader's CSE program affects life beyond the classroom. Researchers ran two rounds of workshops with a total of 140 school principals and administrators across Madagascar, asking them to identify and prioritize the program's effects on students, parents, schools, and communities.
